Not one of my favorite contest that I like, but thought I’d give it a go.
To my surprise  it was fun.  Called it quits around 2200 Sunday, enough
noise for these old ears.

Comments:

The club calls of the Northern Ohio DX Association, NO8DX, and the North Coast
Contesters, NC8C, decided to take a spring break trip to Florida to operate the
WPX SSB contest from the condo superstation (80M OCF up 50′ or so) of K8MR in
Sarasota.

NC8C got the second day, which seemed to go better, whether better conditions or
being a relatively new call on the bands. But only one good run of 50 QSOs or
so, mostly stateside, in the last hour on 15 meters. Otherwise hunt and peck.
But it was good to hand out extra QSOs and a likely extra multiplier to the
gang.

NO8DX got the first day, which was the slower of the two. Not sure if a matter
of conditions, or just having to slug it out with all the other folks for whom
every station was a new one to work.

But a good time was had passing out a likely new multiplier to the crowd.
